Han Solo in Solo: A Star Wars Story

Whether The Book by Boba Fett can surpass the big Luke Skywalker surprise appearance from Season 2 of The Mandalorian is questionable. Still, the new Star Wars series on Disney + offers some exciting opportunities to well-known characters bring back from the galaxy far, far away.

We looked around the Star Wars universe and found a few candidates who appear in the Boba Fett series could. None of the names has yet been officially confirmed. But based on the course that The Mandalorian has taken, great cameos are more than plausible.

Possible return in Boba Fett’s Book: Han Solo

In the past few weeks, one familiar Star Wars face has been making the rounds in the rumor mill: Han Solo. The smuggler has a personal history with Boba Fett, not least of all, Fett has the carbonate-frozen solo drove through half the galaxy. An encounter after a long time or a flashback to the era before the fall of the empire would be conceivable.

Han Solo in Solo: A Star Wars Story

That would be a clever move to bring Alden Ehrenreich back to the Star Wars universe as Han Solo. Even if Solo: A Star Wars Story flopped, many fans would like his story to be continued. Boba Fett’s book would be the ideal way to do that Test solo potential on Disney +. And who knows, he might get his own spin-off series afterwards along with Chewie.

Possible return to The Book of Boba Fett: Qi’ra

Where we are at Solo: A Star Wars Story: The most exciting character from the offshoot has been given a second life in print. Qi’ra, embodied by Emilia Clarke, has been running this since the comic book event War of the Bounty Hunters Crimson Dawn Syndicate and receives two comic series, Crimson Reign and The Hidden Empire, that tell their story. Lucasfilm has high hopes for the character.

Qi’ra in Solo: A Star Wars Story

It is entirely possible that Qi’ra is also present on The Mandalorian’s timeline. As someone who involved in the criminal underworld, it would only be a matter of time before she meets Boba Fett, who has just taken the throne of Jabba the Hutt. After all, it is she who takes the frozen Han Solo out of the bounty hunter in War of the Bounty Hunters.

Possible return in The Book of Boba Fett: Bossk

For decades, Boba Fett was a character who lived off the coolness and serenity of her armor. However, his appearance on The Mandalorian has made it clear that the bounty hunter is engrossed and transformed into an (anti) hero will. But how does his professional environment react to this? The change of mind should raise eyebrows and call old competitors on the scene.

Bossk in The Empire Strikes Back

The bounty hunters, who appeared on the big screen for the first time together with Boba Fett in The Empire Strikes Back, are ideal. From Dengar to Zuckuss to IG-88 and 4-LOM: What we’re most excited about is whether Bossk will make it into the series. The Trandoshan ran into Fett several times and certainly has one or the other Bill open to him.

Possible return in Boba Fett’s Book: Cad Bane

The second season of The Mandalorian caused a stir with two characters in particular: Ahsoka Tano and Bo-Katan Kryze. What was special about the two of them was that we had only seen them in animated series before. Of the Transfer ins Live-Action-Format brings some charms with it. The Boba Fett Book could also benefit from it – with the return of Cad Bane, also a bounty hunter.

Cad Bane in The Bad Batch

Bane is perfect for turning the Star Wars underworld upside down in The Book of Boba Fett. It was introduced in The Clone Wars. He made guest appearances in both Star Wars Rebels and The Bad Batch. He is cunning and merciless. You can never be sure what he’s going to do next. Bane shines everywhere he appears engaging presence. He also has a lot of Western vibes.

Possible return in Boba Fett’s Book: Jabba the Hutt

At the time of the main plot of The Book of Boba Fett, Jabba the Hutt is dead. However, we may get a larger flashback sequence or even an entire flashback episode that shows us how Boba Fett does escaped from Sarlacc. If the story starts a little earlier, we might see the nastiest slime monster in the galaxy.

Jabba the Hutt in Return of the Jedi

To take the idea a little further: what if we get the beginning of Return of the Jedi from Boba Fett’s perspective experience – including short appearances by Luke, Leia, Han, Lando and Chwie? That would be an exciting experiment, both from an artistic and a technical perspective. The cast shouldn’t be a problem: young actors exist for all five characters.

For now, these guest appearances are just pure speculation. Anyone who really appears in The Book of Boba Fett will find out from then on December 29, 2021when the series launches on Disney +. Maybe there will even be a little reunion with characters from the Mando cosmos and an update on how Baby Yoda is doing.
