I don’t know how to pinpoint the date, but I manage to have, in front of me, an image of the chronicle. On that day, on the inside pages of this diary, Eduardo Prado Coelho dedicated his text to the Brazilian telenovela Family relationships from TV Globo. At this distance, I don’t remember what made him rest on a product of the cultural industry, category to which, a few years before, he still resorted to think about the ideas of culture and art. Perhaps the terrible drama experienced by the character Camila Lacerda Ferrari (played by Carolina Dieckmann), a particular episode or just a scene that distractedly caught her attention. But the fact, quite banal, left me amazed and, I must say, comforted.
