President Luis Abinader will travel this Friday to Cotuí, Sánchez Ramírez province, where he will lead the act of delivering certificates to retail pig farmers.
The activity is scheduled for 10:00 in the morning, at the municipal sports center, under the coordination of the Minister of Agriculture, Limber Cruz; the executive president of the Dominican Agribusiness Board (JAD), Osmar Benítez and the governor Cristiana Rodríguez.
It is a restocking program with other species of pig farmers affected by African Swine Fever (ASF)
Through this initiative, a recovery of the livelihoods of the small producers of pigs in this province is sought.
Later, the president will hold a work meeting at the residence of Senator Ricardo de los Santos.
After completing his agenda in this municipality, President Abinader will return to the capital to preside over a meeting of ministers called for 1:30 in the Las Cariátides Room of the National Palace.
