Acer attracts new chrome books, it also has a model for the demanding

Chrome OS is not chosen by chance on cheaper machines. On the one hand, manufacturers do not have to pay for a license, which unnecessarily increases the total purchase price of a laptop, and on the other hand, it is much simpler compared to Google’s Windows system.

Thanks to this, it can work quickly on slower, and logically also cheaper components. In addition, Chrome OS laptops typically offer lower power consumption – so they last longer on battery power – and very quiet operation, as passive cooling is sufficient.

And because of these strengths, Acer has decided to port Chrome OS to more powerful machines as well. For example, the Acer Chromebook Spin 713 (CP713-3W) and the Acer Chromebook Enterprise Spin 713 are the world’s first chrome books with Intel Evo platform authentication. It boasts the latest Intel Core i7 eleventh generation processors.

The big advantage of both innovations is the durable construction, the aluminum chassis even meets the demands of durability according to the US military standard MIL-STD 810H. The word Spin in the title of these two novelties suggests that they can also function as a tablet.

Both innovations are equipped with a 13.5 ”VertiView display with a resolution of 2256 x 1504 pixels, which provides users with 18% more vertical space on the screen, which in practice means less scrolling.

The battery lasts up to ten hours. Fast charging is handy, when after 30 minutes in the charger you can work undisturbed for another four hours.

It’s the same with Celeron

One of the four new products introduced is also the Acer Chromebook 317 (CB317-1H), which is the first chromebook on the market with a 17.3-inch screen with Ful HD resolution. The larger display is suitable for working with multiple tasks at once.

Depending on the operating system used, the latest generation of the Intel Celeron processor ensures a very fast work pace. The equipment also includes WiFi 6, and up to ten hours of endurance on a single charge are also worth mentioning, which is an above-average value for such large machines.

The show of new machines is then closed by chrome books from Acer with a 14-inch screen. The Acer Chromebook 514 (CB514-1W / CB514-1WT) is aimed at students and home and business users alike, offering solid performance thanks to Intel Core chips up to 11th generation.

The Acer Chromebook 314 (CB314-2H / CB314-2HT) is suitable for work on the go. Thanks to a sufficiently large battery and the economical MediaTek MT8183 chip, it can last up to 15 hours without an electrical outlet.

All news will be available on store shelves in June and August. Acer Chromebook 317 (CB317-1H) will be offered from 399 euros (10 090 CZK), Acer Chromebook Spin 713 (CP713-3W) from 769 euros (19 450 CZK), Acer Chromebook 514 (CB514-1W) from 549 euros ( 13 890 CZK), and finally Acer Chromebook 314 (CB314-2H) from 329 euros (8320 CZK).
