Acer has introduced a novelty – the L81 laser projector. The projector is compatible with HDR10 and has a maximum brightness of 3,000 lumens, so it can be used in normal light. As for the light source, the lifespan of the laser is 30,000 hours. The projector also supports continuous projection 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
It is a model with a very short projection distance with 4K resolution and can offer 120 “projection from a distance of 31 cm, allowing you to have a large image even in a smaller room. The manufacturer’s contrast ratio states 2,000,000: 1, assisted by Acer LumiSense technology content frame by frame and then dynamically adjusts the brightness level to provide the best possible image quality, and content can also be projected in 3D at 144 Hz 24p via 3D Blu-ray.
The projector comes pre-installed with the Aptoide TV app store, which allows users to use a variety of streaming services, social networking platforms and more right out of the box – without the need for cables. You can also mirror content wirelessly via Miracast (for Android or Windows), or via EShare (for iOS or Android).
Acer promises low input lag, the ability to set the frequency to 240 Hz at 1080p resolution. The sound is provided by two built-in 10W speakers enhanced by Acer TrueHarmony technology. The L811 also boasts IP6X dustproofing, the highest grade available for particulate matter, is highly durable and offers reliable performance even in dusty or outdoor environments.
The Acer L811 projector will go on sale in November 2021 and the official price for Europe is 2,599 Euros, which is approximately CZK 66,000.
