After paying R$46.3 million for a bet made in Araruama, Rio de Janeiro, this Wednesday (15th) Mega-Sena will draw a prize worth R$3 million. The draw takes place from 7 pm, at Loterias Caixa, in São Paulo.
In addition to handing the Rio de Janeiro player a jackpot for the Saturday draw (11), Caixa also awarded two players – one from Amambai and the other from Campo Grande – on the corner with R$59,322.24. Another 73 bets registered in Mato Grosso do Sul hit the court, with a prize of R$ 1,140.94 for the players.
Mega-Sena bets must be placed by 6 pm on the day of the draw, at any lottery in the country or online, at the Caixa Econômica Federal website. The probability of winning in each Mega-Sena contest varies depending on the number of tens played and the type of bet placed.
For single bets, with only six tens, the probability of winning the prize is 1 in 50,063,860.
