Dortmund – Borussia’s Dortmund professional soccer player Thorgan Hazard will miss his club for some time after a positive Corona test and is therefore not in the squad for the Champions League game on Wednesday at Sporting Lisbon (9 p.m. / DAZN). The club announced this on Monday.

The Belgian, who prepared for Marco Reus’ winning goal in the 2-1 win against VfB Stuttgart on Saturday, had no contact with the team on Sunday or Monday and immediately went into isolation.

Personnel concerns at BVB

“All members of the BVB squad of the professional team and the U23 as well as the respective support teams are 100 percent vaccinated or have recovered. Against this background, no further quarantine measures are currently required, ”said BVB.

This means that the Dortmund team is missing a third offensive player alongside Erling Haaland and Giovanni Reyna at the important game in Portugal. In addition, defensive boss Mats Hummels, who was suspended after his red card in the game against Ajax Amsterdam, is not available.
