Airport Security makes available to the Public Ministry members involved in sending a mule to New York

The Specialized Corps in Airport Security and Civil Aviation, CESAC, determined the involvement of two of its members in sending a mule to New York City, through the José Francisco Peña Goméz International Airport of Las Américas.

The alleged implicated was arrested by the National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD), with an approximate amount of 3.35 kilograms of a powder, presumably cocaine and / or heroin, attached to her body in a vest-type girdle.

It is about a woman of Dominican nationality, who was about to board a JetBlue airline flight, No. 410, last Wednesday night.

The CESAC is deepening the investigations in support of the Public Ministry and the DNCD, to determine the involvement of other possible airport employees.
