The great player of the Boston Celtics, Al Horford, has joined his All-Star teammate Jaylen Brown on COVID-19 protocols after testing positive for the virus.
Horford and Brown will miss the Celtics’ preseason meeting with the Orlando Magic scheduled for Wednesday.

Horford, 35, marks the third known case of COVID-19 for the Celtics in recent weeks. Head coach Ime Udoka had a major case last month. Udoka completed his isolated quarantine and returned to the bench before preseason.
Brown’s positive test came last Friday. He was asymptomatic and quarantined. The team said that Horford it is isolated and that “further updates will be provided as appropriate.”
