Am I the only one who thinks the dismissal of the CEO of TAP is absurd? | Opinion

There was almost unanimity around the dismissal of Christine Ourmières-Widener from the leadership of TAP, due to the report presented by the General Inspectorate of Finance (IGF). Almost everyone considered that, given this assessment, the dismissals for just cause of the chairman of the Board of Directors, Manuel Beja, and the CEO of TAP were inevitable. Allow me to disagree: what happened was a political beheading of TAP’s top management disguised as a bureaucratic investigation into the departure of Alexandra Reis.
