However, when closing the letter, the person who signed it was not Alberto Carrasquilla, who resigned hours after the request of the president, but until recently his vice minister Juan Alberto Londoño.
However, in the letter he signs as Minister of Finance in charge, because although Duque has already appointed José Manuel Restrepo, who had been serving as Minister of Commerce, he has not taken office.

Londoño, for his part, who also resigned to form the team of the Ministry of Finance that will take charge of the new document that Iván Duque promised to design in consensus with all sectors, He will not distance himself completely from the Government, since he will precisely be the replacement of Restrepo in the aforementioned portfolio.
Both appointments have already been made, but until they take office before the head of state and sign as the incumbents, they will continue in their positions.
Who did not wait long to leave was Carrasquilla, who disappeared from the public eye since before resigning, because even their presence was claimed during the socialization of the criticized tax reform.
