The new road M-12 Moscow-Nizhny Novgorod-Kazan will improve the transport situation for 2.5 million residents of the Moscow region in 6 municipalities. The transit flow will bypass settlements and relieve the Gorkovskoye and Nosovikhinskoye highways. Governor of the Moscow Region Andrey Vorobyov together with the Chairman of the Board of the Russian Highways Group of Companies Vyacheslav Petushenko checked the progress of preparations for the start of construction of the federal highway in Pavlovsky Posad.
“The presidential project will relieve the entire eastern direction. Next year, the first sections will be commissioned – about 22-24 km, from Orekhovo-Zuevo to the Central Ring Road. And in 2023 it will be possible to “fly” to the Moscow Ring Road completely unhindered, – said the Governor. – These are very important projects for the development of the economy of the Moscow Region, and above all for the quality of life. Communication becomes fast, convenient and comfortable. For us, each such project is a new stage of development, business opportunities and various communications. Now, in the era of Internet commerce, all this is even more in demand. ”
77 km of the 8-lane highway will run in the Moscow region. 30 thousand motorists will be able to save daily travel time between the settlements of the region and to Moscow. For example, now it takes 1.5 hours to get from the Balashikha microdistrict “Zheleznodorozhny” to Pavlovsky Posad, and the journey along the new road will take 40 minutes. The amount of transit will also decrease on the M-7 Volga. Large interchanges will appear in Lyubertsy – with the Novolytkarinskaya chord, in Bogorodskoye – with the Nosovikhinskoe highway, in Noginsk – with the Central Ring Road, in Orekhovo-Zuev – with A-108, in Staraya Kupavna they will build ramps to the Kudinovskoe highway.
During the construction phase alone, 80,000 jobs will be created for residents. “The most important thing in this route is that the distance between the subjects is getting shorter,” said Vyacheslav Petushenko. – Environmental measures are also provided here, not only where there are houses, but also in the forests, because this, among other things, is the protection of rare animals. There will be screens everywhere. ”
