Antioquia reported 1,862 infected with Covid-19 this Tuesday, May 4

The Sectional Secretary of Health of Antioquia, in a new report on the behavior of Covid-19 in the department, indicated that this Tuesday, May 4, 1,862 infected were reported, so the figure rises to 479,502.

Likewise, it indicates that there are (2,197) hospitalized patients: (1,178) in the Intensive Care Unit, ICU, and (1,019) in general hospitalization.

Regarding patients from other departments, there are (6) hospitalized people. Atlántico (1) in ICU and (1) in general room, Norte de Santander (1) in ICU and (1) in general room, Sucre (1) in ICU and Chocó (1) in ICU.

Regarding the ICU beds in the department, among which are those destined for the care of patients with COVID19 and patients with other pathologies, Antioquia has a total of 1,462 beds. Of these there are, to date, 1,443 occupied like this: 942 with COVID patients, 73 suspected of COVID and 428 not COVID. Thus, the occupancy of ICU beds in the department today is 98.70%.
