Elvar Fridriksson, Cameron Krutwig and Jaylen Hands gave the Giants a 28-17 bonus after 19-15 and a blistering dunk by Hands. The Spirous were not upset and responded via Alex Libert and especially Vincent Kesteloot. The ex-Giant and Antwerper scored 16 points (7 out of 8 shots, including two bombs) in the first half and inspired the comeback (28-25 and 33-30) of the Spirous. Vincent Kesteloot and Alex Libert even provided Charleroi with a 33-43 bonus after a 5-26 intermediate sprint. In the third quarter the double-double Elvar Fridriksson (25 points, 10 assists) took the Giants in tow. After a 9-1 Antwerp intermediate sprint, a 45-44 flickered on the scoreboard. Also with Jyalen Hands and Matt Tiby, the Giants had a 64-59 bonus at the start of the closing quarter. A fierce Charleroi did not let go. At 75-73, star Elvar Fridriksson lost the ball and Charleroi was able to force an extension. In overtime, Elvar Fridriksson and Jean-Marc Mwema pushed through to a deserved Antwerp win after 82-77.

Without strong holder Nate Grime, Kangaroos Mechelen booked a simple victory against a weak Brussels. After 17-27 and an insanely strong second quarter, it went to a 31-62 bonus halfway through. The Mechelen demonstration continued in the second half. Domien Loubry, Wen Mukubu and Jonas Foerts dropped bombs and after 50-90, after a wonderful offensive performance by Kangaroos Mechelen, it went to a marked victory.
