Demonstrations against vaccines are not new and (conspiracy) theories that they serve to monitor us or that they cause us other diseases have existed since the invention of the vaccine itself. But, already in this century, the reminiscences of a fraudulent article in which autism was associated with taking the triple vaccine (against measles, mumps and rubella) are still present worldwide: the anti-vaccination movements are, at least, noisier, the Vaccination rates have fallen this century in countries like the UK and France and diseases such as measles have re-emerged as a result. One of the sparks that still ignite these movements today is an article published exactly 25 years ago that, even after being denied, continues to fuel conspiracies.
