Bahia announced, earlier this Monday afternoon (27), the signing of midfielder Yago Felipe, former Fluminense. The 28-year-old athlete arrives from Fluminense and initially signed a contract until the end of 2025.
Bahia’s football director, Carlos Santoro, commented on the publication and cited the midfielder’s experience. “A consistent player, from Serie A, who knows the competition and comes to a position that we needed to reinforce. Yago will help improve our balance and increase the strength and stability of our team,” he said.
In all, since January 2020, he has played 160 games, scored 9 goals and added 10 assists for the Carioca team. Yago won the 2022 Carioca Championship and participated in Flu’s rankings for the last three Libertadores.
The player’s main characteristics are delivery, versatility and ease of supporting the attack. Yago Felipe da Costa Rocha, from Limoeiro do Norte, has already started training at CT Evaristo de Macedo.
