The successful Bahrain Victorious team has announced two big names for next season: 37-year-old Spaniard Luis León Sánchez, winner of four Tour stages and in his nineteenth professional season, and Johan Price-Pejtersen, barely 22 years old and world champion time trial with the promises.

Bahrain Victorious achieved thirty victories this year and plans to continue on that momentum next season. For that, it strengthens itself with two resounding names: the 37-year-old experienced Spaniard Luis León Sánchez, who is in his nineteenth season as a professional. “I’m happy to ride for a team that wants to become one of the best teams in the world in the coming seasons,” he says. Luis León Sánchez rode for Astana last season in the Spanish champion’s jersey.

The Dane Johan Price-Pejtersen is a man for the future. He comes over from Uno-X Pro Cycling and last season won both the European and World U23 time trial titles. At the World Cup he was on the podium with our compatriot Florian Vermeersch, who finished third.

“I want to thank my previous team Uno-X Pro Cycling for my development. They have played an important part in making me ready for the next step at Bahrain Victorious. This is the perfect environment for my further development,” said Price-Pejtersen.
