Tomorrow officially starts the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. And this Friday (23), from 23:00 pm, Brasília time, Brazil and Tunisia will face each other in the men’s volleyball group stage. The game will take place at the Ariake Arena and will be broadcast by Globo, which will pre-match the game from 22:45 at night.
Brazil is in Group B of men’s volleyball. Along with Tunisia, the United States, France, Argentina and Russia. Coach Renan Dal Zotto will make his first Olympiad as coach of the national team, after the departure of Bernardinho. What’s more, the coach will have at his disposal part of the champion base in 2016: Bruninho, Wallace and the pointer Lucarelli are familiar names to the public.
In addition, the coach spoke yesterday in an interview about Douglas Souza’s success on social media. The player has been posting several stories on Instagram, talking about daily life in Tokyo. “I think it’s cool and he has to enjoy it. He’s already shown that he’s mature and is getting our support. We filter the requests for interviews, we set schedules. Because we can’t let things go loose. But stories are free! He likes this and it’s cool. He’s a phenomenon and he’s mature enough to handle it calmly.”
