It sits above arms between the British Royal Palace and the BBC. The reason is a documentary ‘The Princess and the Press’ that the channel wants to broadcast on Sunday evening. The Queen, Prince Charles and Prince William are so angry that they are now threatening to boycott the channel.

A “gossip documentary” a key Royal Palace employee called the documentary “The Princess and the Press.” The two-part broadcast would expose the troubled bond between Prince William and his brother Prince Harry. According to insiders, it would become clear how the two – or their employees – tried to blacken each other in the press. A sensitive subject for the princes, who were able to stop a similar story before.

So sensitive, it turns out, that the palace chooses to flee ahead and threatens a boycott against the BBC. The royal family and its court would then no longer cooperate in future projects, especially if there is no right of reply for the princes. Apparently, negotiations have already taken place behind the scenes, but the BBC continues to refuse to show the documentary to the palace before broadcasting. “There is a lot of unrest about it,” a source told the Daily Mail. “The Queen and the Princes don’t think this is fair. No one has been able to see the documentary yet.”
