A call is circulating on social media to gather at the Brussels North Station on Sunday afternoon from 1 pm to demonstrate in a “march against the corona pass”. According to the organizers, the manifestation is there to form a voice against the corona measures. There was also such a demonstration in Rotterdam on Friday evening, but it got completely out of hand. Heavy riots broke out that lasted until midnight. Police cars were set on fire, officers even had to open fire.

The police in Brussels expect “several thousand” demonstrators in our capital on Sunday. “The organizers expect a lot of people,” confirms police spokeswoman Ilse Van dekeere. “The police are consulting with the organizers and will take the necessary measures. We are prepared,” it sounds.

The masses will be accompanied from the North Station to the Kleine Wetstraat, as is always the case with a permitted demonstration.
