Brazilian musician Caetano Veloso will return to Portugal for three concerts, two at the Coliseu dos Recreios, in Lisbon, and one at the Coliseu in Porto, in September, the promoter announced this Monday.
Integrated in the tour My coconutthe concerts take place on the 9th and 10th of September, in Lisbon, and on the 14th of the same month in Porto.
“At the show my poopI try to combine outstanding pieces from the album with works that record historical moments in my work”, wrote Caetano Veloso about the show he will present, quoted in the statement.
The text adds that “the repertoire is handpicked, not just with “the mere function of pleasing the spectators”, but creating a plot that puts tracks from different times in dialogue. Basically, that puts Caetano in dialogue with his work , with its public and with its masters and disciples”.
In Lisbon, tickets are priced between 25 and 100 euros, while in Porto they range from 25 to 80.
The last time Caetano Veloso was in Portugal was in 2021, in an intimate voice and guitar format.
