Campo Grandes Matheus da Rosa Passos, 21, and Jean Carlos da Costa Silvera, 25, were arrested with a 9mm caliber pistol and R$52,900 in cash, this Monday (22), in Pedro Juan Caballero, a Paraguayan city close to Ponta Porã, about 323 kilometers from the Capital.

The pair were in a Chevrolet Tracker vehicle, accompanied by the 32-year-old Paraguayan Rodrigo Rodolfo Paredes Valdez, who was also arrested by agents of the National Anti-Drug Secretariat, according to the website ABC Color.

The address and circumstances in which the trio was caught, however, were not disclosed by the Paraguayan police. As soon as they were approached by Senad’s Special Forces, they called the Federal Police of Brazil in search of more information.

Matheus and Jean were booked by the judicial police of the neighboring country, and must be sent to the Capital.
