The Rio councilor and son of the president Jair Bolsonaro, Carlos Bolsonaro (Republicanos-RJ), stated this Thursday, 25, on his Twitter account that he presented a crime-report against senators who are members of the CPI from Pandemic. According to him, the commission’s report shows that the rapporteur, Renan Calheiros (MDB-AL), and the president, Omar Aziz (PSD-AM), had illegal practices, such as abuse of authority, leakage of confidential information, reception and malfeasance.
The president’s son said that the senators’ behavior affected him and other people and that now the Republic’s attorney general, Augusto Aras, will be able to analyze the facts. “CPIs are not exceptional courts and possible transgressions cannot go unpunished”, he defended.

The CPI report called for the indictment of Carlos Bolsonaro for inciting crime and disseminating fake news. The document alleges that the councilor put Brazilians at risk by spreading false news about vaccines and encouraging people to take to the streets.
