The streets of Alto do Cabrito and Boa Vista do Lobato, in the suburbs of Salvador, will once again receive the region’s traditional carnival hangover, after being suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The event will reach its 18th edition with ten blocks, between Saturday (4) and Sunday (5).
This year, the highlight is the attraction aimed at children, which has the theme of Minions and will feature singer Anna Catarina. The parade takes place on the second day of the event, at 9 am, leaving Rua Ana Piedade, in Boa Vista do Lobato.
In the afternoon, it will be the turn of the traditional transvestite block “As Cabritas”, which this year has the theme “As Moranbirtas” and will be lead by the band O Kanalha.
In addition to them, other blocks will liven up the revelers in the suburban carnival hangover. They are: Os Coroas Lindos, Bloco Amor & Samba, Bloco AMACA, Bloco A Carreta, Bloco os Colegas, Bloco 20Amar, Bloco Boa Vista Total and Bloco Arena Boa Vista.
