CDMX: 15 passengers and truck driver arrested after finding kilos of marijuana in the luggage rack

Fifteen passengers and the driver of a truck that came from Copalillo, Guerrero to the Terminal de Autobuses de Pasajeros de Oriente (TAPO) of the Mexico CityAfter being found between 18 to 20 kilograms of marijuana, elements of the Municipal Police of Tepetlixpa, the Secretariat of Security of the State of Mexico, as well as the National Guard participated in the arrest.

The elements of the Tepetlixpa corporation, located in the region of the Iztaccíhuatl and Popocatépetl volcanoes, participated in the Operational Plan III, so they asked the operator of the southern line that circulated on the Mexico-Cuautla highway to stop the car with economic number 2455 to make an inspection, this according to the police report.

Passengers and driver are transferred to the Public Ministry for carrying kilos of marijuana

Members of Public Security checked the luggage rack after the users and the driver got out of the unit, where they found two white bags with the name “Urea Chemicals.”

They were asked whose they were and no one answered, so they opened them in the presence of members of the state police and the National Guard and they discovered that they contained eight packages that were wrapped with tan brown tape and when they discovered them they realized that it was green grass with the characteristics of marijuana.

The 15 passengers, 10 men, five women, as well as the bus operator, in addition to the packages were transferred to the Chalco Federal Public Ministry, where responsibilities will be defined.
