On recent remarks by US Trade Representative Katherine Tai to cooperate with other like-minded economies with the aim of countering China’s economic policies, she regretted such misrepresentations.
Last week, Tai reiterated US concerns about “China’s state-led rather than market-driven policies and practices that hurt American workers, farmers and businesses.”
“We hope that the US government will really change course and work with the business sector to turn economic cooperation and trade into an icebreaker in Sino-US relations,” concluded Le Yucheng.
