Report on the current situation in Mendoza in relation to Covid-19.

According to the report of the Association of Clinics and Sanatoriums of Mendoza (Aclisa) confirms that, with less than half of the month of January elapsed, there was a record in notifications by Covid-19. Until the 13th of this month, 39,831 new positive cases have been reported.

The positivity rate average in this last week is 50,95%. From the 7th to the 13th of this month 28,452 positive cases were reported detected from 55,353 tests carried out, with an average of 4,064 daily cases.

The effective reproductive number (Rt) based on 7 days is 1.70 and the doubling time of infected cases per week is 36.1 days. The accumulated cases in Mendoza are 211,417, current active cases total 25,248 people.

In the last week in the province twelve deaths from coronavirus were recorded, which gives a cumulative case fatality rate of 2.22%. Since the start of the pandemic so far, 4,695 people have died.
