Two days after the Swiss central bank made available a credit line of 51 billion euros to avoid the immediate collapse of Crédit Suisse, one thing already seems to be certain: this help will not be enough to prevent the bank from having to transform radically in order to survive the present crisis, with an acquisition by its main competitor being the main scenario on the table.
