There is no consolation for Silvino Baez Y Graciela Sosa, the parents of Fernando Baez Sosa. He who said for the first time that time heals everything, surely did not have to mourn a child. Two years after a group of rugby murdered the law student at the exit of a bowling alley Villa Gesell, the young man’s parents expressed their enormous pain and made a new call to remember him and demand Justice.

“We wanted to inform you that the next January 18 Two years have passed since the brutal murder of our son Fernando José Báez Sosa and we make a call at Paseo 102 and Avenida 3, in Villa Gesell, at 19. Today more than ever we need the support of all of you to continue demanding justice. We are waiting for you and thank you all for the support we have always received from all of you. Graciela and Silvino ”was the message shared by the victim’s parents.

Last year, on the first anniversary and with the aim of paying tribute to the generosity of the young man, together with his friends they organized a solidarity collection of food and school supplies in Rivadavia Park, in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Caballito.

The heartbreaking testimony of the mother

Fernando Báez Sosa’s mother remembered her son this Thursday in dialogue with TN Y expressed the pain that his death meant: “I could not believe that they tell me to choose a drawer where my son goes”.

On the rugby players who attacked Fernando he remarked: “They killed him treacherously, in a herd”.

Graciela described how she and her husband feel about the loss of their son: “The days do not pass for us. It is very sad and painful not to have Fernando with us. We try to live from his memory ”.

A few days ago, in dialogue with Radio Miter, the mother had expressed: “There are times when I don’t feel like going on living. The life we ​​lead is not life, we are dead with it. We stand alone for him, to ask for justice. I miss my son very much, I still have his bed and his things made up ”.

The pain of Graciela, 54, and her husband Silvino, 48, is unhealthy.

Every weekend, they go to Chacarita Cemetery to light candles, leave flowers and sit in front of the niche in which the boy’s remains rest. On their way home, it is inevitable that they will not pass through his room, which has become practically an altar. Images of the boyhood and adolescence of the young man who took away the possibility of being an adult, his things, rosaries and paintings that artists painted on him generate a shock at first glance.

“I hope to feel some relief and peace with the sentence, but I have a latent wound that has no cure,” wished the woman ahead of the trial that was confirmed for January 2, 2023. “The murderers have more privileges than the victims and their relatives ”, he affirmed.

More calm, who continues to work caring for the elderly, said: “We trust in Justice, we believe that there is a fair sentence. I do not want to think that justice will not be done, it would be very difficult for me. I try to think that justice will come and they will be sentenced to life imprisonment. We want to have some peace and that our son can rest ”. However, he revealed that he has a “terrible fear” that “something will happen to him and it will not come to the moment when the murderers are convicted.”

The pain of Fernando’s girlfriend

Fernando’s girlfriend, Julieta RossiNor is he allowed to forget his love. On social networks, where he has a profile picture of a tender photo in which Fernando is kissing his forehead, every 18 of each month he shares a message asking for justice. “Fernando also had rights that night he was killed. For once, let’s take the side of the victims ”, was one of the messages he wrote.
