Cuba reports 7,437 new cases of COVID-19 and 74 deaths (+ Video)

At the close of this Tuesday, September 14, Cuba reported 7,437 new cases of COVID-19 and 74 deceased, as reported this Wednesday in his usual television appearance by Dr. Francisco Durán García, national director of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Public Health (Minsap).

They are entered for epidemiological clinical surveillance 96 093 patients, suspects 53 967, under surveillance 3 290 and confirmed active 38 836.

For COVID-19 51,130 samples were studied, resulting in 7,437 positive. The country accumulates 8,779,431 samples made and 768,497 positive (8.8%).

  • 7,430 (99.9%) were contacts of confirmed cases
  • 6 with a source of infection abroad (imported cases)
  • 1 no specified source of infection
