Cuban reggaeton player arrested for hitting fire truck with a bat in Miami

MIAMI, United States.- Cuban reggaeton player Jesús Santana Jardines, better known as Chucho Flash, was arrested this Sunday after an incident in which he ended up hitting a fire truck in the city of Miami with a bat.

According to a report from the local news channel América Tevé, Chucho Flash, 30, was detained by Coral Gables police after the event, which took place at the intersection of 8th Street and LeJeune Avenue, in the South Miami

Moments before the reggaeton player was filmed hitting the fire truck with a baseball bat, Chucho Flash was involved in a car accident, which was triggered, according to his statements in court, because they had been “chasing” him.

According to the América Tevé report, when conducting a search of his car, the Coral Gables police found a bag of cocaine.

Jesús Santana Jardines caused damage of up to $ 4,000 to the vehicle, authorities said, also confirming that the reggaeton player faces charges for violently resisting a police arrest, for breaking the windshield of the fire engine and for possessing drugs.

Chucho Flash was set a bond of more than $ 10,000, of which he allegedly paid 10 percent, so that in the next few hours he could be paroled while the pertinent investigation of the case continues.
