Despite giving a great scare, Colombian goalkeeper David Ospina did not suffer serious consequences after the strong clash he starred with Bosnian forward Edin Džeko in Napoli’s 2-3 defeat against Inter in the match on date 13 of the Series TO.
Although the impact was strong and the Colombian national team goalkeeper presented a cut on his head, Ospina was able to continue defending the goal of the southern Italian team in the final minutes.
After the commitment, the Colombian underwent a series of medical tests, in which any serious injury was ruled out and on Monday and Tuesday he joined the work together with his teammates and under the orders of strategist Luciano Spalletti to prepare the duel against Spartak Moscow for the fifth date of the UEFA Europa League group stage.
David Ospina was even included in the list of concentrated players who will travel to Russia for the engagement on Wednesday, November 24.
Napoli currently sits in the top spot in Zone C in the Europa League with seven points after two wins, a draw and a loss.
Ospina is part of the call-up of the Italian club, despite his teammate Alex Meret is the regular in the contest.
