Anastasia Valentinovna Voznesenskaya was born on July 27, 1943 in Moscow. She studied at the Moscow Art Theater School on the course of Markov. In 1963 she married her classmate Andrey Myagkov.
In 1965, after graduating from the Studio School, she was accepted into the troupe of the Sovremennik Theater. After leaving Sovremennik, Oleg Efremova followed him to the Moscow Art Theater, and after the split of the theater in 1987, she stayed with him in the theater, which received the name of the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater.
