Diego Sinhue summons aspiring commissioner of the IACIP

Guanajuato, Guanajuato.- After the PRI claimed on Thursday that he has been a commissioner vacancy for almost two years at the IACIP, the governor Diego Sinhue Rodriguez published the call to integrate the shortlist to elect a commissioner of the Institute.

Proposals for commissioner of the Institute of Access to Public Information of the State of Guanajuato (IACIP), can be presented by governmental or non-governmental institutions.

The proposed persons must meet the following requirements: be a Mexican citizen, residing in the State not less than five years prior to designation. Not have been convicted of a malicious crime.

Be 35 years old on the date of designation. Have one year of experience in the field of transparency, access to information, Data Protection, accountability and human rights.

To have professional knowledge, academic or administrative in the subjects of transparency, access to information, data protection, accountability and human rights.

Not to be or have been a leader of an electoral political party or association at the national, state or municipal level or candidate to popular election post or minister of any religious cult, in the five years prior to their appointment.

The Secretary of Government will be responsible for receiving the proposals for commissioner until October 26, in the General Directorate of Legal Affairs of the Ministry of Government, located in the Panoramic road km 12, section Pastita-Preparatoria Oficial, corner with Guijas, in Guanajuato capital, from 8:30 in the morning to 8:00 at night.

The call was published in the Official Newspaper of the State Government and also in print media and on the website of the Secretary of Government.

Once the proposals are received, the Secretary of Government will report them to the governor. Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, who will formulate the short list that will be sent to Congress.

Whoever is appointed commissioner of the IACIP he will hold office for seven years.
