Documents lost during Carnival will be collected by the Ombudsman


The Bahia Military Police Ombudsman will collect documents lost during Carnival in Salvador. Revelers who find a lost document on the streets can hand it over to police officers in uniform, at the Military Police stations scattered around the circuits or at the Barracks of the Afflicted, in Campo Grande.

The documents found will be sanitized and cataloged to be delivered during and after the revelry. To find out if the lost document was found by the Bahian corporation, just consult the PM websiteaccess the links “Citizen” and “Lost Documents” and type the full name.

The retrieved documents will be delivered directly to the holders or to persons indicated by them through power of attorney.

Check the return days and locations:

  • From 17 to 26 February (from 8 am to 6 pm): Headquarters of the Ombudsman of the Military Police, located at Rua do Tijolo, nº 26, Baixa dos Sapateiros;
  • From February 27th to March 25th (from 9 am to 6 pm): Ombudsman office, located at the Citizen Assistance Service (SAC) in Shopping Barra.

After this period, the documents must be returned to the respective issuing agencies.
