The Kansas City Royals signed the Dominican pitcher Arodys Vizcaino with a Minor League contract, it is operating in the LIDOM with the Tigres del Licey.
From 2015 to 2018 Vizcaino was one of the best relievers for the Braves, at some point in his career he was a jewel in the bullpen of the Atlanta Braves, that’s when the injuries appeared and he began a battle with them.
31-year-old Vizcaino at 6 feet 245 pounds. In 2021 he tried to return to the Major Leagues with the New York Mets, but did not make the team in Spring Training, then he went to the Minor Leagues where he only threw 7 innings giving up 2 runs with 14 strikeouts in 7 games, his frequency of Strikeouts keep getting the attention of some teams.
Now the Kansas City Royals are looking to strengthen their bullpen without having to spend a lot, the best way is to invite several veterans to training and at the end of the day decide which one to keep, that will depend a lot on the individual work of each pitcher.
