Dynamo Moscow defeated Arsenal and continue to fight for the championship

Capital “Dynamo” can be safely called one of the brightest teams in the first round of the championship. In the match of the 15th round of the Russian championship, the “white-blue” in a spectacular style defeated Tula “Arsenal” at home – 5: 1.

Dynamo played the first round surprisingly stable, practically without recessions. Yes, there were offensive home defeats from Wings of the Soviets and Nizhny Novgorod, but in general, Sandro Schwartz’s team holds the bar.

In the match with the Tula, the fate of the meeting was a foregone conclusion before the break: in 12 minutes the hosts scored as many as four goals, in the second half – one more. The guests responded with only one goal, scored in the very end. As a result – a major victory for “Dynamo”, which continues to be one of the main competitors of “Zenith” in the battle for the championship.

– For 75-80 minutes we completely owned the initiative, did not give the opponent any chances. We scored great goals and dominated. After the fifth goal, unfortunately, we calmed down a bit and conceded. I am very pleased with the results of the first round, we are on the right track, – said the head of the Dynamo team Sandro Schwartz.

Unlike the “white-blue”, the capital’s army team could not please their fans in the home meeting with “Khimki” (0: 0). Moreover, CSKA could have been left without points at all, because from the 15th minute the team played in the minority after Bruno Fuchs was sent off. The referee Vladislav Bezborodov not only showed a red card to the Brazilian defender, but also awarded a penalty. However, Kemal Ademi missed the spot.

The match with “Khimki” became a landmark for CSKA legend Igor Akinfeev: this game was for him 800th in his career and 500th in the top division, which had never been possible for any player in Russia before.

Well, the main disappointment of the starting 15 rounds of the championship, without any dispute, is the Moscow “Spartak”. Even before the appointment of Rui Vitoria, the leaders of the “red and white” clearly outlined the only goal in the year of the centenary of the club – winning the championship. But from the beginning of the season, everything went awry: during the break of the match with Benfica in the Champions League, sports director Dmitry Popov announced his retirement, the newcomers that Vitoria wanted were never signed, and the Portuguese himself noted several controversial decisions.

Dynamo scored four goals in 12 minutes against Tula

In the last match of the first round, Spartak, losing to Krasnodar (1: 2), extended the streak without victories in all tournaments to seven meetings.

– In the game against Krasnodar, the guys deserved more. We had opportunities to score more, but the implementation let us down. The first circle was not what we expected. Many footballers were absent due to injuries and cards – hence the result. “The most important thing now is not to panic and find a balance,” Vitoria said.

It is quite possible that Vitoria will no longer be able to bring Spartak out of the crisis. Recently, the press has intensified talk about the interest of the “red and white” to the former assistant to Antonio Conte Paolo Vanoli. The owner of the Moscow club Leonid Fedun has already met with the Italian, but the parties have taken a break so far. If everything goes on like this, Vitoria will remain in the team until mid-December, after which he will give up his place to Vanoli or another specialist.

– Rumors are a normal story for such a large club. So far, there are usual conversations, but we’ll see, – said Vitoria.
