And although they know that priorities also run on the part of the most unprotected classes, regain the purchasing power of the middle class it will be an important push to avoid losing more ground in the next elections.

And even though they know that inflation, in economic terms, it is the great concern of Argentines, the room for maneuver is minimal for November 14Taking into account that a change in this sense will take much longer to be reflected than just two months until the elections.

The measures to be announced

There will be three axes:

  • Wages
  • Profits
  • Consumption

About the salaries, what is sought from the ruling party is a additional increase for minimum wage, which is currently $ 29,160.

Bearing in mind that more than 6 million people are affected by the minimum wage, vital and mobile (SMVyM), this measure will mark a floor for the income of those who receive it and will also function as a reference for the informal sector of work.

Likewise, the increase in SMVyM will also lay the foundations for the amounts received by people with social plans, such as the Work Power, which covers more than 1 million Argentines.

Teachers They make up a large part of state employment in Argentina, mostly in charge of the provinces (La Voz / Archivo).

Teachers: an increase of 15% is expected. (The Voice / File).

The teachers They will also be affected by this measure, since although an additional 10% increase to the 35% already granted had been thought, it is analyzed from the ruling party go up to 15% to do more against inflation.

There will also be talk of a reopening of joint ventures. The latest projection in the 2020 Budget had yielded a 29% increase.

Universal Child Allowance (AUH) and retirements will be two axes that will also have measures in the next announcements of the President.

About the earnings, the ads will focus on the new apartment to start paying the tax. This will be $ 180,000 for gross income.

This implies that in less than a quarter this floor will be raised for the second time, with the idea that one million employees will not be affected by the tax, bearing in mind the renegotiations of the joint ventures and therefore their consequent increase in their income.
