Elize Matsunaga, convicted of the death of her husband, businessman Marcos Kitano Matsunaga, heir to the Yoki Alimentos group, is trying to re-socialize as an app driver in São Paulo. According to journalist Ullisses Campbell, Elize is working on three apps in the Franca region, in the interior of São Paulo.
She was sentenced to 19 years and 11 months in prison for killing and dismembering her husband in 2012. However, Matsunaga’s sentence was reduced to 16 years and 3 months by the Superior Court of Justice (STF) and has been on parole since May of 2022. She served a closed regime in the prison of Tremembé (SP), for 10 years.
Still according to the journalist, reports from passengers say that Elize is “very calm” and that most receive her well. “She uses her maiden name [Elize Araújo Giacomini]”, one of them reported.
Her score in the app is 4.80 and the car used is a Honda Fit, according to information published by the “Mulheres Assassinas” page. Despite the report of being treated well by the passengers, Elize wears masks and glasses to make it difficult for her to be identified.
