February 6, 2022 marked the 70th anniversary of Princess Elizabeth becoming Queen Elizabeth II – and even after seven decades on the throne, the Queen is still holding on bravely, even if her schedule has recently been significantly thinned out, so as not to expect too much from the now 96-year-old monarch.

At the beginning of June 2022, there will be a four-day celebration in Great Britain that the walls will shake – the British were given an extra holiday for this. There is also good news for fans of the aristocracy in Germany: Im Free TV At the beginning of June 2022 there will be a number of broadcast dates on which the jubilee celebrations for Queen Elizabeth II will be broadcast live. ARD presents the royal reporting and has already planned a special program item for the end of May 2022. In the two-hour documentation “The Queen – Fateful Years of a Queen” takes a detailed look at the seven-decade reign of Queen Elizabeth II on Monday, May 30, 2022 from 8:15 p.m. 2022, split into six parts of 25 minutes each, available online in the ARD media library.

RTL is even giving all those who enjoy the dazzling world of royals a whole theme day in honor of Queen Elizabeth II’s 70th jubilee.
