Ant-Man 3: Kang Aura "a profound impact on the MCU"warns Peyton Reed

The director announces “enormous repercussions” that will lead to Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.

After being introduced into Lokihe will make a resounding return to the MCU via Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Kang the Conqueror, played by Jonathan Majors, will have a “profound impact on the rest of the Marvel Universe“, according to director Peyton Reed, who confirms that his film Ant Man 3 will have “huge repercussions that will lead to the highly anticipated 2025 movie Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.”

In Empire Magazine – who also publishes this new unpublished photo – he explains: “Jeff Loveness, who wrote this movie, also writes The Kang Dynasty, so there’s been a lot of talk about the impact of this Kang the Conqueror appearance in Ant-Man 3. There’s great things in store for him in our movie.”

Peyton Reed then specifies that his Kang will not be at all the same as the wacky version “He Who Remains”, which we met in Loki :

Kang the Conqueror in our film is a very different character. He is someone who dominates time, he is a warrior and a strategist. He’s an all-time antagonist.” And so it is Ant Manthe weakest Avenger, whose mission will be to bring him down: “It’s interesting to me: taking the smallest, and in some people’s minds, the weakest Avengers and pitting them against this absolute force of nature.”

Scott Lang will not be alone since he can count on his daughter Cassie (Kathryn Newton) and his tender Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly).

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania will be released on February 15, 2023 in cinemas in France.
