Santo Domingo.- Directors of the Employers’ Confederation of the Dominican Republic (COPARDOM) opened their XX congress “Safety and Health at Work: The Future of Productivity”.
Likewise, managers of COPARDOM They held the inaugural ribbon cutting of the “Commercial Expo”. This is a scenario of the latest trends in the prevention of Occupational Risks.
The conference, chaired by Yudith Castillo in the company of Joel Santos, Minister of the Presidency, began with topics of interest on cardiovascular risks; factors and disorders behind the pandemic by Máxima Méndez, from the Dominican Republic, followed by mental health issues such as silent risks by José López.
Also, international speakers Héctor Camero from Colombia spoke about the changes in strategy in the world of Occupational Safety and Luis Alberto Sánchez, from Venezuela, spoke about adult learning as prevention of occupational risks.
In the examples of good practices, the Case of the Punta Cana International Airport were exposed by the Dominican Johanna García.
To conclude, the Dominicans Andrés Nolasco presented the topic Occupational Risk Assessment; a comprehensive approach; and, Javier Córdoba Garcerán spoke about “In and Out Ergonomics: Redesign of Productivity spaces by the Panamanian.
