Daniel Lévi is dead: the star of the Ten Commandments was 60 years old

Author, composer and performer, Daniel Lévi died this Saturday August 6 from colon cancer, as announced by i24News. He had risen to fame playing Moses in The Ten Commandments.

He will remain for many the star of a successful musical, but he was above all a complete and passionate artist. Daniel Lévi died on August 6 from colon cancer at the age of 60, as reported by i24News. Having become famous by playing Moses in The Ten Commandments, Daniel Lévi had nevertheless started his musical career in the 80s with first albums very influenced by jazz and soul. He had, as a young man, studied the piano for ten years at the conservatory of Lyon.

Once success was achieved, he continued to release albums on a regular basis throughout the 2000s and 2010s. In 2019, he revealed that he had colon cancer. He had been hospitalized since April 2022. He left us at the age of XX.
