Santo Domingo.- The Mayor’s Office of the National District (ADN) carried out this Thursday a tour of the renovated parks of the National District.

The same was carried out as part of the accountability of Mayor Carolina Mejía, who has delivered 80 parks so far.

In the “Parks for all” project, a survey of 142 spaces in the District was carried out.

In addition to the 80 already delivered, this year it is intended to renovate 30 more, with the goal of remodeling 62 spaces for the year 2023.

Boulevard of Honduras, Brisas del Mar Park, Eugenio María de Hostos Park and Las Villas Park were some of the places visited during the tour.

Among the arrangements that were made, the collection of garbage, painting, identification of parks, signs, construction of fields, children’s games, among others.

The tour was led by Mayor Mejía’s team, made up of Luis Pérez, coordinator of the Department of Innovation and Special Projects; Elizabeth Mateo, Director of Communications; Raudy Vargas, Administrative Director of the Council of Regidores, and Yolanda de la Rosa.
