"Enough is enough": Sex and the City star Kim Cattrall finds clear words for Samantha's absence from the sequel series

Long before the Sex and the City sequel And Just Like That … was launched, it was clear that not all of the female clique would return. It was supposed to be between Samantha actress Kim Cattrall and Carrie star Sarah Jessica Parker violent arguments on the set have given. Allegedly, Cattrall demanded more and more money, which annoyed her colleague.

After the Sex and the City sequel offered a brazen explanation for Samantha’s absence from the show, Cattrall said again personally about it and find clear words.

in the Variety interview, the Samantha actress makes it clear that she between employment and friendship. When asked if she ever considered her co-stars as friends, she replies:

I think it depends on the definition of friendship. I think we were colleagues. My colleagues are not my friends. It was professional.

During the conversation, she also opens up about why she didn’t return for the Sex and the City sequel:

There is great wisdom in knowing when enough is enough. I didn’t want to make any compromises eitherwhat the series was to me. The way forward seemed clear.

For Sex and the City fans, Samantha’s absence was probably not a KO criterion. After the success of the sequel And Just Like That … extended for a second season. But nobody should bet for a second on Kim Cattrall’s return.
