James Gunn celebrates the end of filming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.  3 in pictures

The director once again celebrates his cast: Sean Gunn, Pom Klementieff, Chris Pratt, Karen Gillan and Dave Bautista, then Zoe Saldana in a second photo.

“And this is the end clap for the trilogy of Guardians of the Galaxy. I love this cast and this team, they are all incredible, have great talent and a generous soul. I am a lucky human to have been able to share this adventure with them for almost ten years.” It is with these words that james gunn announced the end of filming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 on Twitter before sharing a second photo of Zoe Saldana with Jennifer Holland (already in the director’s seriesrPeacemaker): “Yes, Zoe was with us, but the only photo I have of her is with an actress that we hadn’t announced at the casting yet!”

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is due out May 3, 2023 in theaters. We will therefore find Chris Pratt in Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana in Gamora, Dave Bautista in Drax, Karen Gillan in Nebula, Pom Klementieff in Mantis, Bradley Cooper in Rocket Raccoon (dubbing, because it is Sean Gunn who is in charge of the performance captures), and Vin Diesel in Groot’s voice. Will Poulter joins the team in this sequel to play Adam Warlock, a very powerful character from Marvel comics. Before this blockbuster, a special episode of the Guardians will be broadcast at Christmas on Disney+. It was also directed by James Gunn.
