This Friday August 5, 2022, Miss Languedoc was elected. It was 23-year-old Cameron Vallière who received the crown.
Here is a new candidate for the title of Miss France 2023. Indeed Miss Languedoc 2022 was elected this Friday August 5 in Beaucaire. Cameron Vallière, 23, received the coveted crown from the hands of Diane Leyre ahead of her two runners-up, Agathoise Darine Boudraa and Lattoise Maéva Risueno. Brunette with a devastating smile, she is therefore qualified to start the incredible adventure of Miss France and why not succeed Diane Leyre.
On May 24, the company Miss France also revealed the place where the ceremony of the national competition was going to be held. Mid-December, the regional Misses will be able to meet in Châteauroux, and one of them will be crowned before the eyes of Diane Leyre, occasionally present. In the Mach 36 room, in front of 3,500 people, the regional Misses will have to give everything to be chosen. It is also a place already known to fans of the competition, since it is here that Maeva Coucke was elected in 2017. “We are delighted to be welcomed by the city of Châteauroux for the election of Miss France 2023. Five years ago, the city allowed us to experience a highlight with the crowning of Maeva Coucke, Miss France 2018”, wrote Sylvie Tellier.
Miss France 2023 organized in Châteauroux
However, this place does not respect the tradition Miss France. Indeed, this one wants the ceremony to take place in the region of the Miss elected the previous year. It should therefore have been tarnished in Île-de-France, Diane Leyre being Parisian. Contacted by TeleStar.frthe Miss France company assures us that there is no particular reason for this decision. “It happens regularly but it is not necessarily in the region of the Miss in title that we make the election”, we are reminded. This is particularly the case for Misses from overseas. For reasons of time difference and logistics, the ceremony never took place in the DOM TOM but always in mainland France. It is for this reason that Maëva Coucke had been crowned at Châteauroux.
