duchess Kate is looking for a personal assistant for the right hand of her private secretary Hannah Cockburn Logie. The position is advertised on LinkedIn. Most important requirement: One should have an awareness of and interest in the work and activities of the Duchess and Prince.
“This is an exciting opportunity to join our PA team in supporting the Assistant Private Secretary to Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge,” reads the vacancy notice.

The new personal assistant will be based at Kensington Palace, expected to work 37.5 hours a week and earn £27,500.
Tasks include managing the secretary’s diary, arranging meetings and supervising correspondence, assisting with royal visits and events, arranging travel arrangements and taking minutes of meetings.
Excellent IT, organisational, communication and interpersonal skills are also required.
“Ability to exercise tact and discretion and to maintain confidentiality at all times” is required, as is “a knowledge of the diversity of communities in the UK, Commonwealth and worldwide”.
