Quentin Tarantino's Craziest Project: Star Reveals Details "fantastic" 500 million movie

Quentin Tarantino is a fountain of film ideas. One of them is Django/Zorro, a Crossover project with western hero Django and the masked avenger Zorro. The crazy idea was quiet for a long time. Leading role favorite Antonio Banderas now revealed how the star director wanted to get him on board for the role.

Opposite to USAToday he said:


He spoke on Oscar night [2020] with me. He said, “In your hands [wäre es großartig]!” We’ve never worked together, but it would be great because [Tarantino] and [Django-Darsteller] Jamie Foxx. It would be awesome and fun and crazy.

Unfortunately, however, the project appears to be out of date, as screenwriter Jerrod Carmichael the GQ explained. “It’s an incredible script, but I can see how impossible it is. but I think we wrote a $500 million movie.

It is not clear whether Django/Zorro failed due to pandemic circumstances or Tarantino’s focus on other projects. The exceptional director has various ideas for the future, including Kill Bill: Volume 3 and working on the revival of the Justified series. His first film book will soon be out.
