The highest-grossing film of all time is suddenly back on Disney+ and the reason is obvious

Avatar is not only the most successful film of all time, but also one of the best for many. All the better that James Cameron’s great work is back at Disney +. But why did the mouse studio have the film even thrown out of the offer? The reason, of course, has to do with the upcoming sequel Avatar 2: The Way of Water.

No Avatar at Disney +: Before Avatar 2, fans should go to the cinema again

It will finally be released in cinemas at the end of the year. Tactically smart Disney recently brought the debut back to the cinema. Over ten years after the film’s original screen release, sci-fi fans are finally in need of a refresher.

It’s highly likely that the first avatar’s eviction from Disney+ holdings was part of that strategy. After all, the community should diligently fill the cinema halls again, to give the most successful film of all time another windfall. The plan worked.
